Department of Information and Communication Engineering

The Department of Information and Communication Engineering, established in 2008, offers graduate and post-graduate programs in diverse fields of information and communication engineering. The department has 12 dedicated faculty members with 7 PhD and 5 faculty members currently pursuing their PhD from National and International universities. The department has graduated 9 batches of BSc Telecommunication Engineering up till now, all accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council. The department has 10 dedicated and well-equipped labs and trained lab staff. The department of information and communication engineering has taken measures to actively involve industrial personnel to play a role in the academic grooming of our students. Experts from industry, department alumni, and others are taking part to strengthen our graduate and post-graduate program. We encourage our students to visit industries and identify problems pertaining to them, which could be undertaken as projects. Such liaisons have remained fruitful in developing industrial linkages with industries /organizations situated in the near vicinity.
