Dean's Message

The Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, originally established in 1975 and revitalized in 2020, is home to three prestigious colleges: the University College of Conventional Medicine (established in 2000), the Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi Postgraduate Medical College (established in 2013), and the University College of Nursing (established in 2020). In response to the evolving healthcare needs of society, the Faculty has also established several new departments, including Physical Therapy, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Public Health, Forensic Science, and Medical Laboratory Technology.

Our academic portfolio includes undergraduate programs such as the Bachelor of Eastern Medicine and Surgery (BEMS) and the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medical Sciences (BHMS), along with postgraduate degrees including M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Eastern Medicine and Phytomedicine. The Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi Postgraduate Medical College also offers M.Phil. programs in Pharmacology and Physiology for medical and allied health professionals.
