About Us

The Department of Mathematics, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar Campus, is committed to excellence in mathematical education, quantitative research, innovation, and analytical advancement. The Department provides students with a strong foundation in pure and applied mathematics, complemented by practical, computational, and research-oriented training.

 

The Department offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs, with faculty expertise spanning Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Fluid Dynamics, Numerical Analysis, Mathematical Modeling, Algebra, Artificial Intelligent and related interdisciplinary fields.

 

Through quality teaching, modern mathematical software and computational methods, and research-driven learning, the Department develops graduates equipped with rigorous quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. The Department also promotes interdisciplinary research and collaboration to address contemporary scientific, technological, industrial, and societal challenges.

Through excellence in teaching, research, and mathematical modeling, the Department aims to contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and the technological and socioeconomic development of Pakistan and beyond.
