About Us
The Department of Chemistry, Bahawalnagar Campus, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), was established in 2020 with a commitment to providing quality education in chemistry and fostering the intellectual and professional development of students. Since its inception, the Department has been striving to provide a conducive academic environment that integrates sound theoretical knowledge with practical and laboratory-based learning. Currently, the Department offers BS Chemistry (4 Years) and BS ADP Chemistry (2 Years) programs. The Department is supported by qualified and dedicated faculty, including PhD-qualified teachers, committed to maintaining academic standards and promoting effective teaching and learning practices. Its chemistry laboratory is equipped with essential analytical and experimental facilities, including a spectrophotometer, TDS meter, pH meter, potentiometer, conductometer, heating oven, and a wide range of chemicals and laboratory glassware. The curricula and plans of study are aligned with the guidelines and requirements of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), ensuring relevant and quality-oriented academic preparation for students.
