About Us
The Department of Islamic Studies at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar Campus, is an esteemed, HEC-recognized academic center dedicated to fostering higher education, moral excellence, and comprehensive religious knowledge. Since its establishment in 2012 with the launch of the M.A Islamic Studies program, the department has experienced continuous growth. It expanded its academic portfolio by introducing a dynamic BS program in Fall 2019, followed by an advanced M.Phil program in Fall 2021, and Ph.D. program in Spring 2026. Operating under the guiding slogan “Islam a complete code of Life,” the department provides a vibrant learning environment equipped with dedicated Ph.D faculty members. Through a blend of rigorous classroom instruction, specialized workshops, and academic lectures, we strive to produce scholars and professionals equipped to address contemporary societal challenges with profound Islamic wisdom.
