About Us

The Department of Education is a leading department dedicated to the professional preparation  of pre-service teachers in Southern Punjab. We take pride in our highly qualified, committed, and dedicated faculty, who equip our students with professional knowledge, essential skills, academic proficiency, and a strong sense of humanity.

The Department of Education was established in the year 2006. The Department is offering a variety of teaching related degrees. It offers different pre-service teacher education programs according to the qualification of the entrants as per HEC guidelines. It offers different programs BS Education, MS Education, PhD Education respectively. The courses of all these programs have been developed very skillfully keeping in view the contemporary innovations and the needs of teachers, schools and community at large.  Our mission is to train the students and help them grow professionally to serve the community.

The Department of Education aspires to promote competence in prospective future teachers with crucially, pedagogy skills, practical skills, content knowledge research methods and innovative teaching strategies in education. The Department aims to provide its students with stimulating and dynamic opportunities to be well-equipped to compete in the job market, advance scholarly research in various directions, fulfil more specialized academic endeavors and pursuits, and serve the community.
