The Faculty of Computing aims at producing computer professionals who can meet the challenges of emerging international trends in Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and related disciplines. The Faculty's academic staff are knowledgeable in theory and have gained practical experience in the industry. In addition to providing strong theoretical foundations, our academic programs also place due emphasis on the applied aspects of the disciplines. For this purpose, it is vision of the Faculty to establish a strong liaison with Research & Development organizations and the industry to not only provide students with exposure but also induce ability of problem solving in our graduates. The Faculty comprises of six departments, the Department of Computer Science, Department of Information Technology, Department of Software Engineering, Department of Data Science, Department of Information and Cybersecurity, and Department of Artificial Intelligence. The Department of Computer Science offer BS, MS and PhD programs with different specializations. There are over 5000 alumni of the faculty who are contributing effectively in the industry and thus paying their due share towards national growth.
