MoU signed between UCCM and Masood Homeopathic Pharmaceuticals Lahore

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the University College of Conventional Medicine the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Dr. Masood Homoeopathic Pharmaceuticals Lahore for mutual cooperation and collaboration. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Muhammad Zubair Qureshi, Chief Executive Officer signed on behalf of their respective institutions. On this occasion Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Pro Vice Chancellor and Shoaib Hakeem, Chief Operating Officer were also present. Under the agreement, students of Islamia University of Bahawalpur will receive vocational training at the institute and gain knowledge on pharmaceuticals. Dr. Masood Homoeopathic Lahore will award a Gold Medal to a Bachelor’s of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery student. Medical camps will be set up at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and medicines will be provided. The university will partner with the institute in research facilities and joint research projects will be carried out. In addition, internships, job opportunities as well as research and development cooperation, seminars and conferences will be organized.

یونیورسٹی کالج آف کنونشنل میڈیسن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور اور ڈاکٹر مسعودہومیوپیتھک فارماسوٹیکلز لاہور کے مابین باہمی اشتراک اور تعاون کے لیے مفاہمتی یاداشت پر دستخط ہوئے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب، وائس چانسلر اور ڈاکٹر محمد زبیر قریشی، چیف ایگزیکٹوآفیسر نے اپنے اداروں کی جانب سے دستخط کیے۔ اس موقع پر دونوں اداروں کے فوکل پرسن پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر پُرو وائس چانسلر اور شعیب حکیم چیف آپریٹنگ آفیسر بھی موجود تھے۔ معاہدے کے تحت اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپو رکے طلباء و طالبات مذکورہ ادارے میں پیشہ ورانہ تربیت حاصل کریں گے اور ادویہ سازی سے متعلق آگاہی حاصل کر یں گے۔ ڈاکٹر مسعود ہومیوپیتھک لاہور بیچلر آف ہومیوپیتھک میڈیسن اینڈ سرجری کے ایک طالب علم کو گولڈ میڈل عطا کر ے گی۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپورمیں طبی کیمپ لگائے جائیں گے اور ادویات فراہم کی جائیں گی۔ یونیورسٹی تحقیقی سہولیات میں اس ادارے سے اشتراک کرے گی اور مشترکہ تحقیقی منصوبے سرانجام دیئے جائیں گے۔  اس کے علاوہ انٹرنشپ، ملازمت کے مواقع کی فراہمی کے ساتھ ساتھ ریسرچ اینڈ ڈویلپمنٹ میں تعاون، سیمینار اور کانفرنسز منعقد کیے جائیں گے۔
