IUB and IBA Sukkar join hands to promote teaching and research

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur signed a memorandum of understanding with Sukkur IBA University to collaborate in academia and research at Sukkur. A delegation led by Vice Chancellor, Islamia University Bahawalpur, Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor visited Sukkur IBA University to participate in the ceremony. The venerated guests were received by the university management and were briefed about the initiatives taken by Sukkur IBA University by Prof. Dr. Sher Muhammad Daudpota, Director, Quality Enhancement Cell. Presenting a welcome note, Registrar, Sukkur IBA University, Engr. Zahid Hussain Khand said that universities do not compete but collaborate with each other to promote quality education and play their role in the socioeconomic development of a country. The world has learned it from the pandemic that physical or face to face process has been replaced by digital technologies and universities, therefore, must benefit from it, he added. Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor, Islamia University Bahawalpur, Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob commended the initiatives taken by Sukkur IBA University and said that Islamia University Bahawalpur is working on an expansion model and has also been serving as an examining body for educational institutes in Bahawalpur. The delegation visited campus facilities and were also given a tour of Lansdowne Bridge Sukkur as gesticulation of hospitality.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور اور سکھر انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف بزنس ایڈمنسٹریشن یونیورسٹی نے تعلیمی اور ثقافتی میدانوں میں باہمی تعاون اور اشتراک پر اتفاق کیا ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں دونوں اِداروں کے مابین ایک مفاہمتی یادداشت پر دستخط ہوئے۔ انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور اور رجسٹرار انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف بزنس ایڈمنسٹریشن یونیورسٹی سکھر انجینئر زاہد حسین کھنڈ نے مفاہمتی یادداشت پر دستخط کیے۔ اس موقع پر طے پایا کہ دونوں اِدارے مشترکہ تحقیقی سرگرمیوں، مشترکہ تحقیقی تصانیف، فیکلٹی اور طلبہ کی سطح پر باہمی تبادلے اور نصاب کی تشکیل کے لیے روابط کو فروغ دیں گے۔ دونوں اِدارے اس مقصد کے لیے ایک ریسرچ بھی قائم کریں گے۔ دریں اثناء انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے آئی بی اے سکھر کے دورے کے دوران اِدارے میں اعلیٰ معیار تعلیم، بہترین تدریسی اور تحقیقی سہولیات اور انفراسٹرکچر کا جائزہ لیا اور اعلیٰ تعلیم کے شعبے میں اس تعلیمی مرکز کی شاندار خدمات کو سراہا۔انہوں نے اپنے دورے کے دوران ایک سیمینار سے بھی خطاب کیا اور فیکلٹی ممبرا ن سے باہمی دلچسپی سے متعلق امور پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔
