Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized a seminar on the issue of Kashmir and Pakistani youth

Department of Pakistan Studies the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized a seminar on the issue of Kashmir and Pakistani youth. Prof. Dr. Aftab Hussain Gillani former chairman Department of Pakistan Studies was the guest speaker of this event. He informed the students about the history of Kashmir, the role of the British and the oppression of India. He said that educated youth can highlight the issue of Kashmir with the power of pen and can contribute to the welfare of Kashmiris. At the end of the event, Dr. Rubina Yasmin, Chairperson, Department of Pakistan Studies, thanked all the participants and reiterated the commitment that the Department of Pakistan Studies will continue to raise its voice for the freedom of Kashmir and solidarity with Kashmiris.

ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف پاکستان اسٹڈیز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے زیر اہتمام مسئلہ کشمیر اور پاکستانی نوجوان کے عنوان سے سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ اس تقریب کے مہمان مقرر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آفتاب حسین گیلانی سابق چیئرمین شعبہ پاکستان اسٹڈیز تھے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آفتاب حسین گیلانی نے طلباء وطالبات کو مسئلہ کشمیر کی تاریخ، انگریزوں کے کردار اور ہندوستان کے ظلم و ستم سے آگاہ کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پڑھے لکھے نوجوان قلم کی طاقت سے مسئلہ کشمیر کا اجاگر کرسکتے ہیں اور کشمیریوں کی داد رسی میں اپنا حصہ ڈال سکتے ہیں۔ اس تقریب کے اختتام پر ڈاکٹر روبینہ یاسمین چیئرپرسن ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف پاکستان اسٹڈیز نے تمام شرکاء کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا کہ ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف پاکستان اسٹڈیز کشمیر کی آزادی اور کشمیریوں کے ساتھ یکجہتی کے لیے آواز بلند کرتا رہے گا۔
