In connection with Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations, the Department of Pakistan Studies the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized display of Pakistan Gallery photographs highlighting key moments from the Pakistan Movement and the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The Pakistan Gallery showcased a collection of historic photographs tracing the freedom movement, key political milestones, and rare moments from the life of the nation's founder. On this occasion Dean Faculty of Arts and Languages Prof. Dr. Syed Amir Sohail, Chairman Department of Pakistan Studies Dr. Muhammad Fiaz Anwar, Chairman Department of Siraiki Dr. Mumtaz Khan, Dr. Saeed Ahmad, faculty members and Students attended the event to revisit the historic journey leading to the creation of Pakistan in 1947. Organizers emphasized that the event aimed to educate the younger generation on the sacrifices made during the independence struggle and to reinforce the founding principles articulated by Quaid-e-Azam. Speakers at the opening ceremony highlighted the role of historical archives in fostering national identity and historical awareness among university students. The display featured curated panels detailing major events, including the passage of the Lahore Resolution, historic sessions of the All-India Muslim League, and the constitutional efforts that led to independence.

پاکستان کے یوم آزادی کی تقریبات کے سلسلے میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے شعبہ پاکستان اسٹڈیز نے پاکستان گیلری کی تصاویر کی نمائش کا اہتمام کیا جس میں تحریک پاکستان اور قائداعظم محمد علی جناح کی قیادت کے اہم لمحات کو اجاگر کیا گیا تھا۔ پاکستان گیلری میں تحریک آزادی، اہم سیاسی سنگ میلوں اور قوم کے بانی کی زندگی کے نایاب لمحات کا پتہ لگانے والی تاریخی تصاویر کا مجموعہ دکھایا گیا۔ اس موقع پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف آرٹس اینڈ لینگویجز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سید عامر سہیل، چیئرمین شعبہ پاکستان سٹڈیز ڈاکٹر محمد فیاض انور، چیئرمین شعبہ سرائیکی ڈاکٹر ممتاز خان، ڈاکٹر سعید احمد، فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلباء نے 1947 میں قیام پاکستان کے تاریخی سفر کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے تقریب میں شرکت کی۔ منتظمین نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ اس تقریب کا مقصد نوجوان نسل کو جدوجہد آزادی کے دوران دی گئی قربانیوں سے آگاہ کرنا اور قائداعظم کے بتائے گئے بانی اصولوں کو تقویت دینا ہے۔ افتتاحی تقریب میں مقررین نے یونیورسٹی کے طلباء میں قومی شناخت اور تاریخی بیداری کو فروغ دینے میں تاریخی آرکائیوز کے کردار پر روشنی ڈالی۔ ڈسپلے میں کیوریٹڈ پینلز تھے جن میں بڑے واقعات کی تفصیل تھی، جس میں لاہور کی قرارداد کی منظوری، آل انڈیا مسلم لیگ کے تاریخی اجلاس، اور آئینی کوششیں شامل تھیں جن کی وجہ سے آزادی حاصل ہوئی۔
