Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is playing a key role in the social and economic development of the region. Mutual cooperation with other institutions will be promoted for the construction and development of the city. The Vice-Chancellor expressed these views during a meeting with the Chairman of Parks and Horticulture Authority Syed Umar Farooq in his office. On this occasion, Principal Officer Horticulture and Water Resources and Estate Care Dr. Muhammad Lateef, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Muhammad Usman Cheema and officers participating in the anti-dengue campaign and volunteer students were present. The Vice Chancellor congratulated Syed Umar Farooq on his appointment as Chairman PHA Bahawalpur. Joint projects for the beautification of the city and mutual cooperation in anti-dengue campaign were discussed between the two institutions. On this occasion, certificates of appreciation were distributed among the students participating in the dengue awareness campaign of 2023. Chairman PHA Bahawalpur said that the practical involvement of students in various activities going on in the university is a reflection of the best vision of the Vice Chancellor. He encouraged the volunteer students and said that soon university faculty and students will be involved in activities for the beautification and improvement of the city along with PHA Bahawalpur.

پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور نے کہا ہے کہ جامعہ اسلامیہ علاقے کی سماجی اور معاشی ترقی میں کلیدی کردار ادا کر رہی ہے۔ شہر کی تعمیر وترقی کے لئے دیگر اِداروں کے ساتھ باہمی تعاون کو فروغ دیا جائے گا۔ وائس چانسلر نے اِن خیالات کا اظہار پارکس اینڈ ہارٹیکلچر اتھارٹی کے چیئرمین سید عمر فاروق سے اپنے دفتر میں ملاقات کے دوران میں کیا۔ اس موقع پر پرنسپل آفیسر ہارٹیکلچر اینڈ واٹر ریسورسز و اسٹیٹ کیئر ڈاکٹر محمد لطیف ، چیف میڈیکل آفیسر، ڈاکٹر محمد عثمان چیمہ اور انسدادِ ڈینگی مہم میں شریک افسران اور رضاکار طلباء وطالبات موجود تھے۔ وائس چانسلر نے سید عمر فاروق کو چیئرمین پی ایچ اے بہاول پور تعیناتی پر مبارکباد دی۔ دونوں اِداروں کے مابین شہر کی خوبصورتی کے لئے مشترکہ منصوبوں اور انسدادِ ڈینگی مہم میں باہمی تعاون پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔ اس موقع پر سال 2023 کی ڈینگی آگاہی مہم میں شریک طلباء وطالبات میں توصیفی اسناد تقسیم کی گئیں۔ چیئرمین پی ایچ اے بہاول پور نے کہا کہ یونیورسٹی میں جاری مختلف سرگرمیوں میں طلباء وطالبات کی عملی شمولیت وائس چانسلر کے بہترین ویژن کا عکاس ہے۔ انہوں نے رضا کار طلباء وطالبات کی حوصلہ افزائی کی اور کہا کہ جلد ہی یونیورسٹی فیکلٹی اور طلباء وطالبات کو پی ایچ اے بہاول پور کے ساتھ مل کر شہر کی خوبصورتی اور بہتری کے لئے ہونے والی سرگرمیوں میں شریک کیا جائےگا۔
