Bahawalpur (P) Under the direction of Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, a seminar series organized by the committee established to create awareness about the side effects of drugs and discourage the use of drugs is going on in Islamia University Bahawalpur. The head of this committee is Professor Dr. Fayaz ud din Ahmed. In this regard, a seminar was held at Baghdad-ul Jadeed Campus under the auspices of the Faculty of Agriculture. On this occasion, Dr. Muhammad Usman Cheema Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Faheema Nadeem Senior Medical Officer discussed in detail about drug use and its harmful effects on mental and physical health. Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain Turabi, Dean Faculty of Agriculture and Environment also spoke on this occasion while a large number of faculty members and students participated.

بہاول پور (پ) وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کی ہدایت پر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں منشیات کے مضر اثرات سے آگاہی اور استعمال کی حوصلہ شکنی کے لیے قائم کی گئی کمیٹی کے زیر اہتمام سیمینار سیریز جاری ہے۔ اس کمیٹی کے سربراہ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر فیاض الدین احمد ہیں۔ اس سلسلے میں فیکلٹی آف ایگریکلچر کے زیر اہتمام بغداد الجدید کیمپس میں سیمینار منعقد ہوا۔ اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر محمد عثمان چیمہ چیف میڈیکل آفیسر، ڈاکٹر فہیمہ ندیم سینئر میڈیکل آفیسر نے منشیات کے استعمال اور اس کے ذہنی اور جسمانی صحت پر مرتب ہونیوالے مضر اثرات پر تفصیلی گفتگو کی۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر تنویر حسین ترابی ڈین فیکلٹی آف ایگریکلچر اینڈ انوائرمنٹ نے بھی خطاب کیا جبکہ فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلباء وطالبات بڑی تعداد میں شریک تھے۔
