About

Dr. Muhammad Waqar Hassan did BS & MS in Agricultural Entomology from Baha Uddin Zakariya University Multan in 2005. He did his PhD on international scholarship (Cultural Exchange Scholarship 2007) in Agricultural Entomology in 2010 from Southwest University China. His research work include but is not limited to Integrated management of insect pests of field crops and stored grains or their products. His research work has been published in Journal of Economic Entomology, Journal of Insect Science, Florida Entomologist, Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology, Pakistan Journal of Zoology and other national and international Journals. Currently he is serving as Associate Professor at the Department of Entomology since November 2018. Before this he served as Assistant Professor at the Department of Entomology from November 2011 to November 2018. He also served as Assistant Professor of Entomology at University of Sargodha from September 2010 to September 2011.

Integrated Pest Management, Insect ecology, Insecticide Toxicology, Storage Insect Pest Management, Biological control, Beneficial Insects

Awards and Honors

One Research Project as Pi and several others as Co pi (HEC), Received research incentive awards from IUB from time to time, 3rd position in English language course arranged by National University of Modern Languages (2007).
