Profile Summary

Dr. Muhammad Usman Bashir is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur since January 2021. He started his professional career at IUB as Assistant Professor (IPFP-Interim Placement of Fresh PhD by HEC) on January 2016. He completed his PhD Agronomy from University of Agriculture Faisalabad in 2015 with a major focus on Irrigation Scheduling, Crop Growth Modeling, Climate Change Impact Assessment and designing adaptation strategies. He completed his research training from University of Florida, USA under IRSIP (International Research Support Initiative Program) funded by HEC. He is also awardee of PhD Indigenous Fellowship by HEC.
