Profile Summary

I earned my master’s degree in political philosophy from Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Following this, I spent five enriching years as an adjunct faculty member at Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan before joining The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. My scholarly pursuits lie at the intersection of social and political philosophy and ethics. During my master's research, I examined Michel Foucault’s theories of disciplinary and biopolitical power within social institutions, particularly educational ones, illuminating how these power structures shape and regulate individuals and society. In addition to this, I have explored Marxist feminism, critiqued the economic oppression of women and advocated for their economic independence and education as pathways to liberation from patriarchy and capitalism. My published work also extends to examining the interplay between Islamism and state nationalism in Pakistan, analyzing how Islamic ideologies influence nationalist symbols and state policies through the lenses of modernist, primordialist, and perennialist perspectives.
