Dr. Zaheer Abbas received his M. Sc degree in Mathematics from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in 2002. He completed M. Phil & PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad in 2005 and 2010, respectively. He is now serving as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. He focused his research interest specifically in Nonlinear Analysis of various engineering problems. He constructed several analytical and numerical solutions for non-linear problems. His work is mainly in Fluid Mechanics (Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids, Stretching sheet flows, Boundary layer flows), Two/Three-Phase Flows in Channel/Pipes, Fluid Dynamics of Peristaltic/Blood Flows, Numerical Solutions of DEs/Numerical Methods, Heat and Mass Transfer Analysis, Lie Group Analysis/Symmetries of DEs, Homotopy Analysis Method. Dr. Zaheer Abbas has published more than 167 research papers in well reputed international journals with cumulative impact factor >244. He has more than 3063 citations with 32 h-index. He is also a regular reviewer of the renowned international research journals and member of Editorial Board of Two international journals. In recognition of his outstanding work, he has been awarded Dr. Raziuddin Siddiqui Prize for Young Scientists in Mathematics (2014) by Pakistan Academy of Sciences and RPA in (2010, 2011, 2012, 2016) by PCST. Furthermore, 09 PhD and 62 MPhil students have completed their degrees, 07 PhD and 06 MPhil students are working under his supervision.
