About Me
Dr Abid Shahzad is the Founding Director of the Directorate of International Linkages (DIL) at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB). He earned his PhD degree in Educational Sciences from Ghent University Belgium. Currently, he is serving as the Chairman of the Department of Educational Leadership and Management (ELM). He has presented his research papers and participated in international workshops and seminars in more than twenty countries. He is also the founder of the International Conference on Teaching and Learning (ICOTAL) and STEMS international conferences that are held regularly at IUB. He has engaged a number of renowned international universities, research institutes and educationists in the ICOTAL and STEMS conferences. HE has been selected as the national level trainer by the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) working under HEC to train the college faculty throughout Pakistan. He is a member of many international educational organizations that are working in the field of education. He is regularly organizing international training workshops/seminars for research students at the Faculty of Education.
