Bahawalpur (P) A delegation of FC College University Lahore headed by Dr. Derk Bakker visited the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum Dean Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences and Patron Consortium on Climate Change, Sustainability and Conservation, Dr. Abid Hussain Shehzad Director International Linkages, Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Director Cholistan Institute of Desert Studies welcomed the delegation of FC College University Lahore. A letter of agreement was signed between the parties. Prof. Dr. Wajid Naseem Jatoi, Director of International Center for Climate Change, Food Security and Sustainability, appointed the members of the delegation as the central coordinator for cooperation between the two universities. The delegation of FC College University Lahore, visited Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, especially the Institute of Agro Industry and Environment also visited. On this occasion, Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz Associate Professor, Dr. Sahib Aslam Associate Professor, Department of Environment, FC College University Lahore were included. Prof. Dr. Ghulam Hasan Abbasi Director Institute of Agro Industries, Dr. Muhammad Ali Assistant Professor and other faculty members informed the guests about degree programs, ongoing research projects and initiatives for environmental protection. FC College University Lahore delegation also visited Cholistan Institute of Desert Studies. Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Director Cholistan Institute of Desert Studies, Dr. Muhammad Zahid Ehsan Associate Professor, Dr. Liaqat Ali Associate Professor, Dr. Shahid Rizwan Associate Professor, Dr. Hamid Nawaz Assistant Professor and other faculty members informed about the research projects and initiatives. Later, FC College University Lahore delegation also visited University College of Art and Design and Hakra Art Gallery the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Dr. Farhana Altaf Qureshi Principal and Faculty welcomed the guests and informed about the ongoing teaching activities and art exhibition in the college.

بہاول پور (پ) ڈاکٹر ڈیرک بیکر کی سربراہی میں آئے ہوئے ایف سی کالج یونیورسٹی لاہور کے وفد نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کا دورہ کیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم ڈین فیکلٹی آف کیمیکل اینڈ بائیو لوجیکل سائنسز و سرپرست کنسورشیم آن کلائمیٹ چینج، سسٹین ایبلٹی اینڈ کنزرویشن، ڈاکٹر عابد حسین شہزاد ڈائریکٹر انٹرنیشنل لنکیجز، ڈاکٹر محمد عبداللہ ڈائریکٹر چولستان انسٹیٹیوٹ آف ڈیزرٹ اسٹڈیز نے ایف سی کالج یونیورسٹی لاہور کے وفد کا خیرمقدم کیا۔ اس موقع پر دونوں یونیورسٹیوں کے درمیان دو طرفہ معاہدے لیٹر آف ایگریمنٹ پر دستخط ہوئے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر واجد نسیم جتوئی ڈائریکٹر انٹرنیشنل سینٹر فار کلائمیٹ چینج، فوڈ سیکیورٹی اینڈ سسٹین ایبلٹی نے وفد کے اراکین کو دونوں جامعات کے درمیان تعاون کے لیے مرکزی رابطہ کار کا فریضہ سر انجام دیا۔ ایف سی کالج یونیورسٹی لاہور کے وفد نے فیکلٹی آف ایگریکلچر اینڈ انوائرمنٹ بالخصوص انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف ایگرو انڈسٹری اینڈ انوائرمنٹ کا بھی دورہ کیا۔ اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر محمد شہباز ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر، ڈاکٹر صہیب اسلم ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر، شعبہ ماحولیات، ایف سی کالج یونیورسٹی لاہور شامل تھے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر غلام حسن عباسی ڈائریکٹر انسٹیٹیوٹ آف ایگرو انڈسٹریز، ڈاکٹر محمد علی اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر اور دیگر فیکلٹی ممبران نے مہمانوں کو ڈگری پروگراموں، جاری تحقیقی منصوبوں اور ماحولیاتی تحفظ کے لیے اقدامات سے آگاہ کیا۔ ایف سی کالج یونیورسٹی لاہور کے وفد نے چولستان انسٹیٹیوٹ آف ڈیزرٹ اسٹڈیز کا بھی دورہ کیا۔ ڈاکٹر محمد عبداللہ ڈائریکٹر چولستان انسٹیٹیوٹ آف ڈیزرٹ اسٹڈیز، ڈاکٹر محمد زاہد احسان ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر، ڈاکٹر لیاقت علی ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر، ڈاکٹر شاہد رضوان ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر، ڈاکٹر حامد نواز اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر اور دیگر فیکلٹی ممبران کو تحقیقی منصوبوں و اقدامات سے آگاہ کیا۔ بعد ازاں ایف سی کالج یونیورسٹی لاہور کے وفد نے یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن اور ہاکڑہ آرٹ گیلری اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کا بھی دورہ کیا۔ ڈاکٹر فرحانہ الطاف قریشی پرنسپل اور فیکلٹی نے مہمانوں کو خوش آمدید کہا اور کالج میں جاری تدریسی سرگرمیوں اور آرٹ کی نمائش سے متعلق آگاہ کیا۔
