The Faculty of medicine and Allied Health Sciences was constituted in 1975 with the name of Faculty of Medicine and again made functional in 2020. The faculty has two colleges, University College of conventional medicines started in 2003 and Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi Post Graduate Medical College started in 2014. Faculty also started three new departments of Physical Therapy, Human Nutrition and Dietetics and third one is Medical Laboratory Technology in 2020. The University College of Conventional Medicines is offering further two morning programs in Bachelor of Eastern Medicines and Surgery (BEMS) and Bachelor Homeopathic Medicines (BHMS). The three new emerged departments are offering evening programs which is very good opportunity for employees and fresh students to get graduate degree. Moreover these are all professional degrees and the graduates can start their own clinics and setups after graduation and getting registered from relevant councils, as these programs are affiliated with their relevant councils. The National council for Tibb and National council of Homeopathy visit periodically and renew the affiliation of relevant programs.

 The faculty has foreign and national qualified Ph.D. and post doctorate teaching staff. Both colleges of the Faculty are offering M. Phil programs in their relevant fields. The Post graduate medical college is offering only MS level program for medical doctors, pharmacists, chemists and many more relevant graduates. Programs of Faculty of Medicine are very good opportunity for students to be graduated and become master from here.
