The mission of Enabling Center is to help university students and employees through counseling testing consultation, outreach and effective psychological services to resolve personal developmental, educational occupational and mental health issues that may interface with optimal personal functioning. And acquire the skills, attitudes, abilities, and knowledge that will enable them to attain educational and personal goals. To accomplish this mission, the EC will provide serves and programs that:

Enhance student academic skills and learning strategies through academic counseling and learning skills workshops. Support student’s careers exploration; decision-making and professional growth by providing career counseling, assessment and workshops

Understand the student’s academic concerns and other related problems, making the appropriate referrals, if necessary.

Enhance self—awareness, interpersonal skills and personal development through individual, and group counseling psychotherapy and educational workshop;

Provide crisis response and consultation to students, parents, and faculty

Support the employees facing any work-place issues, burnout or job-related problems. Providing counseling services and psychotherapies to employees having psychological issues. facilitate therapists’ psychotherapeutic interventions through psychological testing and assessment. advocate and support mental health –awareness in The Islamia University of Bahawalpur community through consultation, presentations and psychological workshop. Support the continued education and wellness of the EC staff through ongoing personal and professional development. promote awareness of mental health concerns for university community including. Students and employees by placing –awareness material on PSYCH ROCK. For safe and timely delivery of services, EC will start e-psych services through distances mode (i.e, meail and tale-counseling and psychotherapy)
