National Minorities Day 2026 was celebrated at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
On August 11, 2026, as per the directions of the Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Department and Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab, the IUB Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony Society, in collaboration with the IUB Social Welfare & Human Rights Society, successfully organized the National Minority Day Celebration.

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
