About Me
My research focuses on the application of advanced geospatial technologies for flood hazard characterization, inundation mapping, and post-disaster damage assessment. I investigate the integration of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) remote sensing, satellite-derived precipitation products, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and hydraulic modeling to improve the accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of flood monitoring and risk assessment. The overarching objective of my research is to develop scientifically robust and operational methodologies that support disaster risk reduction, emergency response, and climate-resilient water resources management.
