With: Business Incubation Centre (2026-02 - 2028-07)
There is a lot of possibility for business opportunities in Pakistan, but entrepreneurs, especially insocially and economically challenged areas in Pakistan faces many hurdles that make it hard forthem to reach goals. High rates of business failure, lack of guidance, and the absence of startupsupport facilities make the problem worse. this project proposes setting up the first fully virtualstartup center in Pakistan, which will provide new entrepreneurs with easy to access, comprehensive and sustainable support through digital training and resources. The Convergence of sustainability and digital technology in entrepreneurship has revolutionizedthe opportunity for startups and small and medium enterprises (Women and young entrepreneurs)to advance efficiency in their operations. Through adopting virtual (digital) entrepreneurshippractices, startups and Women and young entrepreneurs can cultivate sustainable entrepreneurialgrowth (Teng, Wu et al. 2022). In today's scenario, Small and Medium Enterprises (Women andyoung entrepreneurs) face increasing pressure to adopt environmentally sustainable practices aspart of their Corporate social responsibility (CSR) while leveraging digitalization forentrepreneurial success. Digital and virtual incubation program, a novel concept, integratessustainable entrepreneurship and digital technology to address this challenge (Islam, Wahab et al.2022). This research study aims to develop a framework for Women and young entrepreneurs andStartups to harness digitalization and foster sustainable growth. In Pakistan, the Government has also taken steps, including establishing businessincubation centres (BIC) and small and medium enterprises development authority in almost everybig city to promote small businesses among thousands of entrepreneurs attempting to create animpact through their startup initiatives annually. However, the number of startups produced byentrepreneurial ecosystems from governments is deficient (Pospisil and Zavodna 2022),particularly startups launched from university campuses are not co and most of the universityincubation centers are empty (Bank 2019). This raises a big question on the effectiveness ofentrepreneurship learning in BICs operated in HEIs and women and young entrepreneurs, agovernment organization for Women and young entrepreneurs, skills and competencies needed toproduce Women and young entrepreneurs and startups by young and women entrepreneurs. Theeffectiveness of entrepreneurship education programs to produce startups and their conversionsinto Women and young entrepreneurs depends upon their alignment to the context and culture ofthe intuition in which it is being taught (Kingma 2014, Lahikainen, Kolhinen et al. 2019).Moreover, youth unemployment is among the greatest global challenges today(Palmer and Small2021) and because of that, young Entrepreneurs are gearing up through their student-led startupInitiatives. The world needs urgent steps to create 1.3 million jobs annually (Schwab and Zahidi2020). Youth living in socio-economically challenged areas of the world are more prone tounemployment and poverty due to a lack of employment opportunities. Realizing the importanceof entrepreneurship, the government of Different countries have started programs to support Smalland medium enterprises to meet this challenge (Pospisil and Zavodna 2022).The study aims to contribute to the economy, environment, and human resourcesdevelopment, especially to women and young entrepreneurs, by filling the gap throughtechnological advancements like digitalization and by giving virtual entrepreneurship educationthrough virtual incubation centers and promoting digital and virtual entrepreneurship in socio-Page 1 of 10economically challenged regions of the world.
