About Me

Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz is a dedicated researcher and academic in Pure Mathematics, currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad, where his doctoral research focused on compactness, connectedness, and related structural concepts in generalized topological spaces.

His research expertise spans a broad spectrum of mathematical fields, including General Topology, Primal and Neutrosophic Topological Spaces, Algebraic Topology, Fixed Point Theory, Functional Analysis, Discrete Mathematics, and Mathematical Analysis. He has contributed significantly to theoretical advancements through numerous publications, particularly in generalized topology, neutrosophic structures, compactness, connectedness, and fixed point results in various abstract spaces.

Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz has also extended his work to interdisciplinary domains such as mathematical chemistry, computational modeling, image processing, and the analysis of uncertainty in data, developing mathematically rigorous approaches for modeling and decision-making under indeterminacy. His research portfolio includes accepted, published, and under-review articles in reputable international journals, reflecting his active engagement in advancing modern mathematical theory.

In his academic role, he regularly teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in topology, fixed point theory, fixed point approximation theory, opertor theory, cryptography, real analysis, functional analysis, calculus, and related areas. He also supervised  nineteen MPhil research scholars, guiding thesis development across topics in topology, fixed point theory, fuzzy and neutrosophic structures, chemical process optimization, and nonlinear dynamics, cryptography.
