About Me
Dr. M. Mahmood worked on broad research areas under Biological Sciences including Plant Genomics, Plant Biotechnology, Plant transcriptomics, Comparative Genomics, Plant Tissue Culture & Plant Genetic Engineering for Transgenics development. He intends to explore Plant Genomics and Proteomics resources by utilizing in silico analyses and also develop novel approaches to investigate structural and functional elements in genome assemblies. He also has expertise for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) dataset handlings and building de novo Genome assemblies.
He worked as Graduate researcher (2014-2015) on a Plant Genomics Project at National Key Laboratory of Crop Genetics Improvement, HZAU, Wuhan, P.R. CHINA.
He served as Assistant Professor (2019-21) at IPBB, MNSUA Multan. He is HEC approved PhD supervisor and is a regular reviewer of the renowned international research journals.
