About Me
Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Abid Ur Rehman hails from Haroonabad, District Bahawalnagar, Punjab, Pakistan. He completed his early education in his hometown. He holds the degree of Al-Shahadat Ul Almiyah and has memorized the Holy Quran (Hifz-e-Quran). Both qualifications are certified by Wifaq ul Madaris Al-Arabia, Pakistan.In addition, he also completed Takhassus fi al-Fiqh (Specialization in Islamic Jurisprudence) from Jamia Khair-ul-Madaris, Multan.
He completed his Ph.D. in Arabic,M.Phil. in Arabic Literature , M.Phil. in Islamic Studies, M.A. in Islamic Studies,and M.A. in Urdu Literature, from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. His area of specialization is Arabic language and literature, with a comprehensive academic focus on Islamic Studies.
He joined the Department of Translation Studies at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur as an Associate Lecturer in October 2021. Since April 2022, he has been serving as a Lecturer in the same department.
He has published Seven research articles in reputed national journals and authored two books. He has presented one research paper at an International Seerah Conference, and two research papers at international Arabic conferences. Additionally, he has delivered Islamic lectures in various seminars and Friday congregational gatherings (Jumu‘ah prayers).
His area of specialization is Arabic language and literature, with a comprehensive academic focus on Islamic Studies.
