About Me
I completed my higher education at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, where I developed a strong foundation in entomological sciences. My research expertise focuses on the microbial control of insect pests affecting fruits and vegetables, stored grain pests, and pests of economically important crops.
During my PhD, I had the privilege of collaborating with eminent scientists at the University of California Riverside, which significantly enhanced my research perspective and international exposure. In 2017, I revisited the United States to participate in the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Society for Invertebrate Pathology, further strengthening my engagement with the global scientific community.
I have a substantial record of scholarly contributions, including publications in prestigious entomology journals, as well as numerous research and review articles in internationally recognized journals. Additionally, I have contributed several book chapters published by globally renowned academic publishers.
Professionally, I completed a one-year IPFP contract at Bahauddin Zakariya University Bahadur Campus Layyah. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Entomology, Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. In this role, I am actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting research, and mentoring students.
I have successfully secured research funding of approximately PKR 0.5 million from the Higher Education Commission Pakistan and have supervised 10 postgraduate students to completion.

Research and Development Projects
1. Resistance of Conventional Grain Protectants against Stored Products Beetles (Rs. 0.50 M), funded by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad, Pakistan under Start-Up Research Grant Program (SRGP).

Current study revealed that all the test populations collected from different geographical distant localities of Punjab found resistant to phosphine gas with reference to laboratory susceptible population. Although all the test population found resistant but vary level of in their resistant level. Probit analysis estimate LC50 for the laboratory susceptible strain is 3.03 ppm. Among different population, Layyah population found most resistant population with LC50 415.44 ppm with 137.10 fold more resistant as compared to susceptible strain. The lowest resistant population was obtained from Lahore with 57.62 fold more resistant with LC50 174.59 ppm when compared with laboratory susceptible strain. All other populations Sargodha 82.72 fold with LC50 250.66 ppm, Multan 109.53 fold with LC50 331.88 ppm, Faisalabad 91.07 fold with LC50 275.97 ppm, Bahawalpur 118.09 fold with LC50 359.64 ppm, Lahore 57.62 fold with LC50 174.59 ppm, Jhang 126.70 fold with LC50 383.92 ppm, and Gujranwala 98.27 fold with LC50 297.77 ppm
