About Me
Hira Awais is an accomplished computer science professional and educator with over four years of academic experience and a strong foundation in software development and cloud technologies. Currently serving as a Lecturer and Deputy Director of Student Affairs at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, she combines technical expertise with leadership in student engagement and academic management.
She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from FAST-NU Lahore with distinction and has professional experience as a Software Engineer at Northbay Solutions, where she worked on cloud migration projects involving AWS, PostgreSQL, and Java. Her research interests include Data Science, Big Data Processing, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence with a master’s thesis focused on image tag recommendation using Apache Spark.
She is an AWS Certified Developer Associate and is skilled in multiple programming languages IDEs and frameworks. She is recognized for her effective teaching methods, strong communication skills, and dedication to student development, complemented by her involvement in organizing academic and extracurricular events.
