Profile Summary

Dr. Ghulam Abbas has completed his Ph. D in Applied Mathematics (General Theory of Relativity) from University of the Punjab, Lahore Pakistan in 2013. Currently, he is working as Tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan, also he is post-doctorate fellow of National Astronomical Observatory China (NAOC) Beijing, China during 2023.  He has published his research work in the journals of the international repute. His total publications in the impact factor journal are 150, with the accumulative impact factor 400, these publications have been cited by more than 3000 related articles. His h-index is 30. He has successfully supervised 11 Ph. D Mathematics Thesis and 70 M. S Mathematics Thesis.  Currently, 04 Ph. D students and 09 M. S students are working under his supervision.  He has participated as speaker in 30 national and international conferences and has organized some conferences, seminars and webinars in his university during 2020-2022. During the years 2013, 2015, 2016 Pakistan Council of Science and Technology has awarded him the research productivity award.  He is the in-charge examination and online admission in-charge in his university. He has been granted culture exchange program funding to visit NAOC, Chinse academy of sciences Beijing for 03 months during 2012.  During the years 2020-2025, he has been announced (by Stanford University USA) among the world top 2% most cited scientists in his field of research. His parent University awarded him the prominent researcher award in 2022 for publishing the 22 research articles in one year.
