About Me
Dr. Ayesha Mahmood is a dedicated mathematician with a strong interest in geometric modeling, computational mathematics and Fuzzy logics. She earned her M.Phil. and PhD degrees with specialization in Computer-Aided Geometric Design (CAGD) and Subdivision Schemes from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Her academic journey reflects a consistent commitment to research excellence and professional growth.
She is currently serving as a Lecturer (BPS-18) in the Department of Mathematics, Bagdad-ul-Jadeed Campus, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, where she has been affiliated since April 2022. In her role, she is actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses and contributing to the academic development of students.
Dr. Ayesha Mahmood is actively engaged in research and has published several research articles in well-reputed, peer-reviewed impact-factor journals. Her research interests primarily include subdivision schemes, spline functions, geometric modeling, computer-aided geometric design and Fuzzy set theory with a focus on developing efficient and innovative mathematical techniques.
