Dr Muhammad Ahmad Niaz is a distinguished leader in the field of computer science and software engineering, bringing extensive academic and research expertise to the department. He holds a PhD from China, with impactful contributions to GIS and remote sensing applications, as well as cutting-edge work in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning modelling.
With a strong dedication to mentorship and academic excellence, Dr Niaz has supervised more than 70 BS students in their final-year projects and guided 20+ MPhil scholars in advanced research endeavours. His leadership fosters innovation, critical thinking, and industry relevance, ensuring students receive top-tier education and research opportunities.
Dr Niaz’s vision emphasises bridging the gap between academic research and industry practices, preparing graduates to excel in dynamic technological landscapes.
