About Me
Dr. Abdur Raheem received his Bachelor and Master in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore, Pakistan. He held different research and teaching posts during his services in Pakistan. He received his Ph.D. degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) where he has been involved in research of Optimization of pre-treatment techniques of anaerobic digestion of biomass. He published his papers in international journals. He also published two research papers in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews (Impact Factor=16.79), which is a reputed journal in the field of electrical engineering and renewable energy systems. His research interests include cost effective optimization of different combinations of wind turbines, PV arrays and biofuels. Currently he is working as Head of Department in Department of Electrical Engineering, The Islamia University Bahawlpur (IUB), Pakistan.

This project, with a total approved cost of Rs. 43.5 million, is being led by Dr. Faisal Shahzad, Associate Professor, Department of Livestock Management, and is being implemented by The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) in collaboration with relevant partners.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
