About Me
Mr. Jibran Jamshed started his professional legal career in 2009 as an Advocate and practiced law in District and High Court Multan Bench till 2012. In 2012, he was selected as Law Officer in SNGPL and served there for one year. In 2013, he was selected for the post of Assistant District Public Prosecutor (BPS 17) in the Punjab Criminal Prosecution Service, Government of Punjab. As a public prosecutor, he conducted all types of criminal trials in Sessions Court i.e., murder, rape, narcotics cases, etc. He also worked in Magisterial, Sessions and MEPCO Court. As a Prosecutor he took part in many training workshops. In 2016, he was selected by the Government of Punjab the for Advocacy Skills Training Program held in Thailand with the help of the United States Department of Justice, where he was trained by the US Senior Prosecutors.
In 2017, he was selected for the post of Assistant Professor (BPS 19) at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. With versatile practical legal experience, he took a keen interest in the field of legal research and in a short period published quality research work in internationally renowned research journals. He published more than 25 research articles in HEC-recognized journals which include One Impact Factor Publication as sole author, and 8 publications in foreign W category journals. In 2021, he enrolled in the PhD program in the pioneer batch of Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan and currently doing his research after completing of Course Work.
He also worked in many administrative and academic positions at the Department level and University levels. He is currently working as “Coordinator IUB Police Program”, “Advisor of the IUB Publication Society” and “Deputy Manager of ORIC”. He also participated in many national-level Law Moot Court Competitions as a Judge and Coach of IUB teams.
