Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, along with a high-level delegation from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, visited the Enigmatix Software House. The aim of the visit was to promote innovation and strengthen academia-industry collaboration. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Dost Muhammad Khan Dean Faculty of Computing, Engr. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amjad Dean Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Najia Saher Chairperson Department of Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Riaz Hussain President Academic Staff Association, Faisal Shahzad and Zaman Ali Lecturers Department of Information Technology. During the visit, Tauqeer Ahmed, CEO of Enigmatix, welcomed the delegation and presented an insightful briefing on the company’s portfolio, which spans digital transformation projects, AI solutions, and custom software services in sectors such as finance, healthcare, logistics, and education. With a talented team of over 700 professionals, Enigmatix stands as South Punjab’s largest tech enterprise with a growing global footprint. Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran praised the company's professional environment and commitment to nurturing local talent. He highlighted the need for closer collaboration between universities and the tech industry to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. The visit concluded with mutual expressions of interest in launching joint research projects, industry-oriented training modules, start-ups incubation support, and long-term internship and employment pipelines. One of the key outcomes of the visit was the announcement of 1,000 internship opportunities for the Islamia University of Bahawalpur students at Enigmatix, a major step toward experiential learning and practical skill development.
