Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, has said that high-quality teaching and learning is the top priority. For this purpose, teachers should start the new academic session with comprehensive planning. The Vice Chancellor expressed these views while addressing the heads of teaching departments before the start of the new academic session at the Baghdad ul-Jadeed Campus today. He asked the deans, chairmen, chairpersons, and teachers to use all their energy for regular classes and teaching a world-class curriculum approved by the Higher Education Commission. High-quality education is actually the reputation and recognition of the institution. Parents, students, and other segments of society rate educational institutions based on educational quality. The Vice Chancellor said that he is fully focused on quality education and expects the faculty to implement it. A training session on quality education will be organised for teachers of the campus and affiliated colleges in the middle of this month. He himself will participate in this session and deliver lectures. The Board of Studies is the first step towards quality education which should be integrated. The Learning Management System should be updated so that attendance grading and curriculum are as per the prescribed standards. The Vice Chancellor said that all the teaching heads should start the new academic session with a new spirit. He said that an advertisement has been given to improve the quality of visiting faculty and he will sit in the interview panel himself. The Vice Chancellor directed that laboratory work should also be ensured regularly. On this occasion, Director of Academics Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal provided information about the ratio of teachers and students in the university and the details of the previous semesters with the help of statistics.

بہاولپور (پ ر) وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے کہا ہے کہ درس و تدریس کا اعلیٰ معیار اولین ترجیح ہے۔ اس مقصد کے لیے اساتذہ کو جامع منصوبہ بندی کے ساتھ نئے تعلیمی سیشن  کا آغاز کرنا چاہیے۔ وائس چانسلر نے ان خیالات کا اظہار آج بغدادالجدید کیمپس میں نئے تعلیمی سیشن کے آغاز سے پہلے تدریسی شعبہ جات کے سربراہان سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ انہوں نے ڈینز، چیئرمین، چیئرپرسنز، اساتذہ سے کہا کہ کلاسز کی باقاعدگی اور ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن سے منظور شدہ عالمی معیار کے نصاب کی تدریس کے لیے تمام تر توانائی بروئے کار لائی جائے۔ اعلیٰ معیار تعلیم ہی اصل میں ادارے کی ساکھ اور پہچان ہوتی ہے۔ والدین طلباوطالبات اور معاشرے کے دیگر طبقات تعلیمی معیار سے ہی تعلیمی اداروں کی درجہ بندی کرتے ہیں۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ وہ کوالٹی ایجوکیشن پر بھرپور توجہ مرکوز کیے ہوئے ہیں اور فیکلٹی سے بھی توقع کرتے ہیں کہ وہ اس پر عملدرآمد کرے گی۔ رواں ماہ کے وسط میں کیمپس اور ملحقہ کالجز کے اساتذہ کے لیے کوالٹی ایجوکیشن کے تربیتی سیشن کا انعقاد کیا جائے گا۔ وہ خود اس سیشن میں شریک ہوں گے اور لیکچر دیں گے۔ معیاری تعلیم کے لیے بورڈ آف اسٹڈیز پہلی سیڑھی ہے جس کو مربوط کیا جائے۔ لرننگ مینجمنٹ سسٹم کو اپ ڈیٹ کیا جائے تاکہ حاضری گریڈنگ اور نصاب مقررہ معیار کے مطابق ہوں۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ تمام تدریسی سربراہان ایک نئے جذبے سے نئے تعلیمی سیشن کا آغاز کریں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وزیٹنگ فیکلٹی کے معیار کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے اشتہار دیا گیا ہے اور وہ خود انٹرویو پینل میں بیٹھیں گے۔ وائس چانسلر نے ہدایت کی کہ لیباٹری ورک کو بھی یقینی بنایا جائے۔ اس موقع پر ڈائریکٹر اکیڈیمکس پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جواد اقبال نے اعداد و شمار کی مدد سے یونیورسٹی میں اساتذہ اور طلباو طالبات کا تناسب اور گزشتہ سیمسٹرز کی تفصیلات سے آگاہ کیا۔
