Under the patronage of the Governor of the Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, who presided over the ceremony as the chief guest, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Red Crescent Society and the universities of the Punjab at Governor House Lahore. Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University Bahawalpur, Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, attended the ceremony along with the Director of Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, who served as the focal person. This partnership launches the "Youth for Humanity" initiative, which includes training in emergency services, a tree plantation drive, and a digital blood donation network across the province.
