The University College of Art and Design The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, observed Kashmir Black Day through a meaningful artistic tribute expressing solidarity with the people of Kashmir. Students showcased their creativity through drawing and painting activities. A poster exhibition displayed powerful artistic expressions of solidarity with Kashmir. A dedicated solidarity wall featured messages of dignity, hope, and support. A conceptual art installation, featuring a solitary chair illuminated by a single light, symbolized the loneliness, strength, and resilience of the Kashmiri people. Certificates of appreciation were presented to students whose artworks were selected for recognition. The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Pro-Vice Chancellor as chief guest, along with Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, Director of Student Affairs and Dr. Farhana Altaf Qureshi Principal, The University College of Art and Design, Director of Public Relations Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, Director of Alumni Affairs Dr. Jam Sajjad Hussain, Deputy Registrar of Public Affairs Fatima Junaid, who appreciated the students' creative contributions. Through the universal language of art, The University College of Art and Design reaffirmed the importance of empathy, human dignity, justice, and hope while expressing solidarity with the people of Kashmir. یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے کشمیری عوام کے ساتھ یکجہتی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے فن پاروں کی نمائش کا اہتمام کیا۔ طلباء وطالبات نے ڈرائنگ اور پینٹنگ کی سرگرمیوں کے ذریعے اپنی تخلیقی صلاحیتوں کا مظاہرہ کیا۔ ایک پوسٹر نمائش میں کشمیر کے ساتھ یکجہتی کے فن پارے پیش کیے گئے۔ یکجہتی کے لیے مختص ایک دیوار پر وقار، امید اور حمایت پر مبنی پیغامات آویزاں کیے گئے۔ ایک کونسیپچوئل آرٹ انسٹالیشن میں، ایک تنہا کرسی کو ایک ہی روشنی سے منور دکھایا گیا تھا، جو کشمیری عوام کی تنہائی، قوت اور استقامت کی علامت تھی۔ جن طلباء کے فن پاروں کو سراہا گیا، انہیں تعریفی اسناد پیش کی گئیں۔ اس تقریب میں پرو وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی نے بطور مہمانِ خصوصی شرکت کی۔ ان کے ہمراہ ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹ افیئرز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا، یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن کی پرنسپل ڈاکٹر فرحانہ الطاف قریشی ڈائریکٹر پبلک ریلیشنز ڈاکٹر شہزاد احمد خالد ڈائریکٹر ایلومینائی افیئرز ڈاکٹر جام سجاد حسین ڈپٹی رجسٹرار پبلک افیئرز فاطمہ جنید بھی موجود تھے، جنہوں نے طلباء کی تخلیقی کاوشوں کو سراہا۔ آرٹ کی آفاقی زبان کے ذریعے، یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن نے کشمیری عوام کے ساتھ یکجہتی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے ہمدردی، انسانی وقار، انصاف اور امید کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کیا۔
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
