 The syndicate of Islamia University Bahawalpur has approved a budget of Rs 7204.425 million for the financial year 2021-22 and a record development budget of Rs 3572.060 million. A meeting of the Syndicate was held under the chairmanship of Engineer Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor was held at Abbasia Campus. The meeting approved the establishment of the National Cotton Breeding Institute. The members of the syndicate also approved the setting up of a sub-campus of Islamia University Bahawalpur in Liaquatpur. The meeting also discussed the Higher Education Commission's policy on plagiarism, new rules of the Sports Tournament Committee, Performance Appraisal form, performance-based increments and promotions for tenured faculty members, research assistants, human resources and other legal, administrative and financial matters.

 بہاول پور (پ ر) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی سینڈیکیٹ نے مالیاتی سال 2021-22کے لیے7204.425  ملین روپے کے بجٹ اور یونیورسٹی کی تاریخ میں ریکارڈ ترقیاتی بجٹ3572.060ملین روپے کی بھی منظوری دی گئی۔ سینڈیکیٹ کا اجلاس انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر کی زیر صدارت عباسیہ کیمپس میں منعقد ہوا۔اجلاس میں نیشنل کاٹن بریڈنگ انسٹی ٹیو ٹ کے قیام کی منظوری دی گئی۔ سینڈیکیٹ ممبران نے لیاقت پور میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے سب کیمپس کے قیام کی بھی منظوری دی۔اجلاس میں ایوایشن سائنسز اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی کے شعبے کے قیام اور ایئر کرافٹ مینٹیننس اور ایوایشن مینجمنٹ میں بی ایس پروگرام شروع کرنے کی منظوری دی گئی۔ اجلاس میں ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کے  پلیجرازم سے متعلق پالیسی، سپورٹس ٹورنامنٹ کمیٹی کے نئے رولز، پرفارمنس اپریذل فارم، ٹینورڈفیکلٹی ممبران کے لیے پرفارمنس پر مبنی انکریمنٹ اور مشاہرات، ریسرچ اسسٹنٹ، ہیومن ریسوس کے علاوہ دیگر قانونی انتظامی اور مالیاتی امور بھی زیر بحث آئے۔
