Under the leadership of Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is on the path of progress development. These views were expressed by Masood Sabir, Chief Executive Wasaib Halls, Masood Al Hassan Zia, Sufi Scholar and Qudratullah Shahzad, former President of Urdu Department, Sadiq Public School in his office. They thanked the Vice Chancellor for setting up the Department of Iqbaliat, saying that through this department there would be positive windows of thought and action which are direly needed. Dr. Rafiqul Islam, President, Department of Iqbaliat was also present on the occasion.

انجنئیر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب کی قیادت میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور شبانہ روز ترقی کی راہ پر گامزن ہے۔نئی فیکلٹیز اور شعبہ جات کا قیام کہ جس کے سبب طلباء کی تعداد میں تین گنا اضافہ ہوا ہے یقیناً ان کی کامیاب انتظامی پالیسیوں کا منہ بولتا ثبوت ہے اور اس کی جتنی بھی تحسین کی جائے کم ہے۔ان خیالات کا اظہار مسعود صابر،چیف ایگزیکٹو وسیب ہالز،مسعود الحسن ضیاء،صوفی سکالراورقدرت اللہ شہزاد،سابق صدر شعبہ اردو، صادق پبلک اسکول نے وائس چانسلر سے ان کے دفتر میں ملاقات کے دوران کیا۔ انہوں نے شعبہ اقبالیات کے قیام پر وائس چانسلر کا شکریہ ادا کیا کہ اس شعبے کے ذریعے فکر و عمل کے مثبت دریچے وا ہوں گے کہ جن کی فی زمانہ اشد ضرورت ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے ان کی تشریف آوری پر شکریہ ادا کیا۔ ڈاکٹر رفیق الاسلام صدر شعبہ اقبالیات بھی اس موقع پر موجود تھے۔
