The Department of Public Administration at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized a seminar titled Pakistania, National Cohesion and Role of Youth at Ghotvi Hall, Old Campus, to highlight the importance of national unity, patriotism, social harmony and the constructive role of young people in Pakistan’s development. Dr. Shahbaz Ali Khan, Chairman, Department of Public Administration, delivered the welcome address and emphasized the importance of engaging youth in strengthening national cohesion and promoting responsible citizenship. Dr. Nayyar Mustafa, Managing Director, Bahawalpur Horticulture Agency, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the significance of national identity, mutual respect, interprovincial harmony and youth participation in addressing contemporary social challenges. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, attended the seminar as the chief guest and underscored the vital role of higher education institutions in nurturing informed, responsible and patriotic citizens. He emphasized that universities must go beyond academic instruction to promote ethical values, tolerance, critical thinking, social responsibility and a shared commitment to Pakistan’s progress. He highlighted the potential of the country’s youth as a driving force for national integration, innovation and sustainable development, stressing that young people should rise above linguistic, regional and cultural differences and work together for the collective good. The Vice Chancellor also highlighted IUB’s commitment to providing students with opportunities for intellectual growth, character building, leadership development and constructive community engagement. He emphasized that national cohesion is strengthened through respect for diversity, equal opportunities, democratic values and a shared sense of responsibility towards the country. The seminar concluded with formal closing remarks and a vote of thanks by Dr. Shahbaz Ali Khan, who expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, keynote speaker, faculty members and students for their participation. The event reaffirmed The Islamia University of Bahawalpur’s commitment to promoting national unity, responsible citizenship and meaningful youth engagement in Pakistan’s future.

شعبہ پبلک ایڈمنسٹریشن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور نے پاکستان، قومی یکجہتی اور نوجوانوں کا کردار کے عنوان سے غلام محمد گھوٹوی ہال میں ایک سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا۔ اس سیمینار کا مقصد قومی اتحاد، حب الوطنی، سماجی ہم آہنگی اور پاکستان کی ترقی میں نوجوانوں کے تعمیری کردار کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کرنا تھا۔ شعبہ پبلک ایڈمنسٹریشن کے چیئرمین ڈاکٹر شہباز علی خان نے خطبہ استقبالیہ پیش کیا اور قومی یکجہتی کو مضبوط بنانے اور ذمہ دارانہ شہریت کو فروغ دینے میں نوجوانوں کی شمولیت کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔ بہاولپور ہارٹیکلچر ایجنسی کے منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر ڈاکٹر نیئر مصطفیٰ نے کلیدی خطاب کیا، جس میں انہوں نے قومی شناخت، باہمی احترام، بین الصوبائی ہم آہنگی اور عصری سماجی چیلنجوں سے نمٹنے میں نوجوانوں کی شرکت کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کیا۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے بطور مہمانِ خصوصی سیمینار میں شرکت کی اور باخبر، ذمہ دار اور محب وطن شہری تیار کرنے میں اعلیٰ تعلیمی اداروں کے کلیدی کردار پر روشنی ڈالی۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ یونیورسٹیوں کو محض تعلیمی تدریس سے آگے بڑھ کر اخلاقی اقدار، رواداری، تنقیدی سوچ، سماجی ذمہ داری اور پاکستان کی ترقی کے لیے مشترکہ عزم کو فروغ دینا چاہیے۔ انہوں نے قومی یکجہتی، جدت طرازی اور پائیدار ترقی کے لیے ملک کے نوجوانوں کی صلاحیتوں کو ایک محرک قوت کے طور پر اجاگر کیا اور کہا کہ نوجوانوں کو لسانی، علاقائی اور ثقافتی اختلافات سے بالاتر ہو کر اجتماعی بھلائی کے لیے مل کر کام کرنا چاہیے۔ وائس چانسلر نے طلباء کو فکری نشوونما، کردار سازی، قائدانہ صلاحیتوں کے فروغ اور معاشرے میں تعمیری شمولیت کے مواقع فراہم کرنے کے حوالے سے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کے عزم کو بھی اجاگر کیا۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ قومی یکجہتی کا فروغ تنوع کے احترام، مساوی مواقع، جمہوری اقدار اور ملک کے تئیں ذمہ داری کے مشترکہ احساس سے ممکن ہے۔ سیمینار کا اختتام ڈاکٹر شہباز علی خان کے رسمی اختتامی کلمات اور شکریہ کے اظہار پر ہوا، جنہوں نے وائس چانسلر، کلیدی مقرر، فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلباء کا شرکت کرنے پر شکریہ ادا کیا۔ اس تقریب نے قومی اتحاد، ذمہ دارانہ شہریت اور پاکستان کے مستقبل میں نوجوانوں کی بامعنی شمولیت کو فروغ دینے کے لیے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کے عزم کی دوبارہ توثیق کی۔
