The Culture Promotion Society, the Directorate of Student Affairs Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized a cultural event at the Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus to mark Pashtun Culture Day.

The Culture Promotion Society, the Directorate of Student Affairs Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized a cultural event at the Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus to mark Pashtun Culture Day. The event highlighted Pashtun culture, traditions, heritage, and solidarity with students and performers showcasing the beauty of Pashtun culture through traditional attire. Addressing the gathering Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Technology Rahim Yar Khan remarked that students at the university from across Pakistan are like a bouquet of flowers, fostering national unity. He added that the Pashtun people are renowned for their culture, bravery, and brotherhood. The event was attended by Dr. Saeed Ahmed Buzdar, Professor Dr. Rubina Bhatti Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha Director of Student Affairs, along with a large number of students who participated with great enthusiasm. During the proceedings Professor Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha was presented a traditional Pashtun turban, while Professor Dr. Rubina Bhatti was presented with a traditional Pashtun shawl. Students from across the university participated in the day-long festivities.

کلچر پروموشن سوسائٹی ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف اسٹوڈنٹ افیئرزاسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام بغداد الجدید کیمپس میں پشتون کلچر ڈے کے حوالے سے ایک ثقافتی تقریب منعقد کی گئی۔تقریب میں پشتون ثقافت روایات تہذیبی ورثے اور ملکی یکجہتی کو اجاگر کیا گیا۔طلبہ و طالبات اور مہمان فنکاروں نے خوبصورت علاقائی لباس میں پشتون اور دوسری ثقافتوں کو خوبصورتی سے پیش کیا۔ وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی  بہاولپور اور خواجہ فرید یونیورسٹی آف انجینئرنگ اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی رحیم یار خان پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نےاس موقع پر خطاب کرتے ہوئے  کہا کہ پاکستان بھر سے آنے والے طلباوطالبات ایک گلدستے کی مانند ہیں اور قومی اتحاد و یکجہتی کو فروغ دے رہے ہیں۔انہوں نے کہا کہ پشتون کلچر مہمان نوازی بہادری اور بھائی چارے کے لیے مشہور ہے۔ تقریب میں وائس چانسلر تھل یونیورسٹی بھکر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعید احمد بزدارنے خصوصی طور پر شرکت کی۔اس موقع پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹ فیئرز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا سینئر اساتذہ کرام اور طلباء و طالبات نےبھرپور شرکت کی۔اس موقع پر پنجاب ، گلگت بلتستان اور دیگر صوبوں کے کلچر کو بھی خوبصورت لباس سے پیش کیا گیا۔طلباوطالبات نے وائس چانسلرپروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران اور ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹ افیئرزپروفیسر ڈاکٹرآصف نوید رانجھا کو پشتون روایتی پگڑی اور ڈین فیکلٹی آف شوشل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹرروبینہ بھٹی کو پشتون روایتی چادر پہنائی۔دن بھر جاری رہنے والے فیسٹیول میں یونیورسٹی کے طلبہ طالبات  اساتذہ اور یونیورسٹی کمیونٹی نے بھرپور شرکت کی۔
