The 85th meeting of Advanced Studies and Research Board of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was held at Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar. Director Advanced Studies and Research Board Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha presented a report on the implementation of the decisions made in the last meeting. Proposals were discussed for implementing the Higher Education Commission's Graduate Education Policy 2023 at the post-graduate level, for which a five-member committee was constituted. On this occasion, the research topics and examiners in various PhD. thessess in departments were approved. Also, the matters of amendments in the titles of PhD thessess and the appointment of assistant examiners were also considered. Cancellation of registration of PhD scholars in various departments was also approved.

ایڈوانسڈ سٹڈیز اینڈ ریسرچ بورڈ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کا 85 واں اجلاس وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کی زیر صدارت بغداد الجدید کیمپس میں منعقد ہوا۔  ڈائریکٹر ایڈوانسڈ سٹڈیز اینڈ ریسرچ بورڈ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا نے گزشتہ اجلاس میں کئے گئے فیصلوں پر عملدرآمد کی رپورٹ پیش کی۔ اجلاس میں پوسٹ گریجویٹ کی سطح پر ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کی گریجویٹ ایجوکیشن پالیسی 2023 کی تجاویز پیش کی گئیں جس کے لئے ایک پانچ رکنی کمیٹی تشکیل دے دی گئی۔ اس موقع پر مختلف شعبہ جات میں پی ایچ ڈی مقالہ جات اور ممتحنین کی تعیناتی کی منظوری دی گئی۔نیز پی ایچ ڈی مقالہ جات کے عنوانات میں ترامیم اور معاون ممتحنین کی تعیناتی کے معاملات بھی زیر غور آئے۔ مختلف شعبہ جات میں پی ایچ ڈی سکالرز کی رجسٹریشن کی منسوخی بھی منظور کی گئی۔
