The 60th meeting of the Academic Council of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran at Baghdad ul-Jadeed Campus. Important policy issues related to teaching matters came under consideration in the meeting. The Vice Chancellor said in his address that important steps will be taken after careful consideration for increasing the quality of education in the university, faculty workload and degree programs according to the needs of the national and international job market. The aim of these steps is to make the Islamia University of Bahawalpur a standard university in Pakistan and the world. Everyone will have to make joint efforts to improve financial challenges, admissions and other matters so that this university can stand on its own feet. For this purpose, long and short term policies and guidelines will be implemented. On this occasion, Director Academics Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal presented a report on the implementation of the decisions taken in the previous meeting. Issues related to the Department of Applied Psychology, University College of Nursing, Department of English Literature, Urdu and Iqbaliyat and College of Art and Design were discussed in the meeting. Decisions were made on the teaching engagements of non-teaching MPhil and PhD employees, faculty workload, and issues related to various departments.

بہاولپور (پ ر) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی اکیڈیمک کونسل کا 60 واں اجلاس وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کی زیر صدارت بغدادالجدید کیمپس میں منعقد ہوا۔ اجلاس میں تدریسی امور سے متعلق اہم پالیسی معاملات زیر غور آئے۔ وائس چانسلر نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ یونیورسٹی میں معیار تعلیم میں اضافے، اساتذہ کی تدریسی مصروفیات اور قومی اور بین الاقوامی جاب مارکیٹ کی ضروریات کے مطابق ڈگری پروگراموں کے لیے غورو خوص کے بعد اہم اقدامات کیے جائیں گے۔ ان اقدامات کا مقصد اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کو پاکستان اور عالمی سطح کی معیاری یونیورسٹی کا درجہ دلانا ہے۔ فنانشل چیلنج، داخلوں اور دوسرے معاملات میں بہتری کے لیے سب کو ملکر کوششیں کرنا ہوں گی تاکہ یہ یونیورسٹی اپنے پاؤں پر کھڑی ہو سکے۔ اس مقصد کے لیے طویل اور کم مدت کی پالیسیاں اور اصطاحات نافذ کی جائیں گی۔ اس موقع پر ڈائریکٹر اکیڈیمکس پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جواد اقبال نے گزشتہ اجلاس میں کییگے فیصلوں پر عملدرآمد کی رپورٹ پیش کی۔ اجلاس میں شعبہ اپلائیڈ سائیکالوجی، یونیورسٹی کالج آف نرسنگ، شعبہ انگلش لٹریچر، اردو اینڈ اقبالیات اور کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن سے متعلقہ امور زیر بحث آئے۔ نان ٹیچنگ ایم فل اور پی ایچ ڈی ملازمین کی تدریسی مصروفیات، فیکلٹی ورک لوڈ اور مختلف شعبہ جات سے متعلق امور پر فیصلے کیے گئے۔
