Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, has said that the Alumni of University is an important asset. University graduates brighten the name of their institution by performing meritorious services in various fields of life all over the world. These alumni actually becomes the strength of their alma mater and remains associated with their educational institution throughout their lives. The Directorate of Alumni at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is being activated. Dr. Azhar Hussain, Assistant Professor, has been appointed Director of Alumni Affairs. Dr. Azhar Hussain had played an important role in the establishment and activation of Student Societies and he has also been playing a practical role as Deputy Director Student Affairs. He has been given the task of setting up the IUB Alumni Network so that he can connect the University Alumni around the world with his university. A special web portal has also been launched online for this purpose and the alumni network has also been activated on social media where alumni will be able to share with the IUB community about their personal and professional successes. They will also be able to participate fully in the development and well-being of their University. The office of the Alumni has been set up at the Syed Tabish Alwari building in Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus and alumni will be able to register through a web portal alumni.iub.edu.pk

پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے کہا کہ ایلومینائی یونیورسٹی کا اہم اثاثہ ہوتی ہے۔ جامعہ سے فارغ التحصیل طلباء و طالبات مختلف شعبہ جات میں خدمات سرانجام دے کر اپنے ادارے کا نام روشن کرتے ہیں۔ یہ ایلومینائی دراصل اپنے مادر علمی کی طاقت بنتے ہیں اور ان کا تعلق اپنے تعلیمی ادارے سے تمام عمر جڑارہتا ہے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں ایلومینائی کے شعبہ کو فعال کیا جا رہا ہے۔ ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف ایلومینائی آفیئرزمیں اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اظہر حسین کو بطور ڈائریکٹر تعینات کیا گیا ہے۔ ڈاکٹر اظہر حسین نے سٹوڈنٹس سوسائیٹزکے قیام میں اور ان کو فعال بنانے کے لیے اہم کردار ادا کیا تھا اور وہ بطور ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹس آفیئرز بھی عملی کردار ادا کرتے رہے ہیں۔ آئی یوبی ایلومینائی نیٹ ورک کی تشکیل کا ٹاسک انہیں دے دیا گیا ہے تاکہ وہ پاکستان سمیت دنیا بھر میں موجود یونیورسٹی ایلومینائی کو اپنی جامعہ سے جوڑ سکیں۔ اس مقصد کے لیے ایک خصوصی پورٹل بھی آن لائن کر دیا گیا ہے اور ایلومینائی نیٹ ورک سوشل میڈیا پر بھی فعال ہو گیا ہے۔وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ ایلومینائی نیٹ ورک اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے ایلومینائی کو ایک پلیٹ فارم پر جمع کرنے کا باعث بنے گا جہاں پر سابق طلباء وطالبات اپنی ذاتی اور پیشہ ورانہ کامیابی سے متعلق آئی یوبی کمیونٹی سے آگاہ کر سکیں گے۔اسی طرح وہ اپنے مادر علمی کی ترقی اور بھلائی میں بھی بھرپور انداز میں شریک ہو سکیں گے۔یہ بات قابل ذکر ہے کہ ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف ایلومینائی کا دفتر سید تابش الوری بلڈنگ بغدادالجدید کیمپس میں قائم کر دیا گیا ہے اور سابقہ طلباء وطالبات نیچے دیے گئے ویب سائٹ لنک کے ذریعے رجسٹریشن کروا سکیں گے۔
