Pakistan Engineering Council to Establish Consultative Office at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur
The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) will establish a state-of-the-art consultative office at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) and set up modern laboratories to promote engineering education at the university. In this regard, Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof Dr. Muhammad Kamran, recently visited the Pakistan Engineering Council and met with PEC Chairman Engineer Waseem Nazir. During the meeting, both institutions discussed mutual cooperation and initiatives for the professional development of the Faculty of Engineering. Chairman PEC stated that Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran will be honored with the PEC Excellence Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of engineering. The award ceremony is expected to take place in the coming days at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad.

پاکستان انجیئنرنگ کونسل اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں اسٹیٹ آف دی آرٹ کنسلٹیٹو آفس قائم کرے گی اور انجیئنرنگ کی تعلیم کے فروغ کے لئے جامعہ میں جدید لیبارٹریوں کا قیام عمل میں لایا جائے گا۔ اس سلسلے میں وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے گزشتہ روز پاکستان انجیئنرنگ کونسل کا دورہ اور چئیرمین پاکستان انجیئنرنگ کونسل انجینئر وسیم نذیر سے ملاقات کی۔ ملاقات کے دوران دونوں اداروں کے درمیان باہمی تعاون اور انجیئنرنگ فیکلٹی کی پیشہ ورانہ ترقی کے لئے اقدامات پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔ چیئرمین پاکستان انجیئنرنگ کونسل نے کہا کہ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کو انجیئنرنگ کے شعبے میں غیر معمولی خدمات کے اعتراف میں پی ای سی ایکسیلنس ایوارڈ دیا جاے گا۔ ایوارڈ دینے کی تقریب آئندہ چند روز میں ایوان صدر اسلام آباد میں متوقع ہے۔
