On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, a portrait making competition was organized at IUB

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal, students of 6 institutions participated in the portrait making competition at University College of Art and Design, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Among these institutions were University College of Art and Design the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Architecture Department the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Government Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur, Government Graduate College Women Satellite Town Bahawalpur, Government Girls Degree College Dubai Mahal Road Bahawalpur and Government Degree College of Special Education Bahawalpur included. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Javed Hassan Chandio, Dean Faculty of Arts and Languages, Prof. Dr. Ismat Durrani, Chairperson Department of Persian, Dr. Mustafa Zaidi, Assistant Professor Department of Persian, and Farhana Altaf Principal, University College of Art and Design, spoke about the life, poetry, and achievements of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. The speakers appreciated the creativity of the students for highlighting the various aspects of Allama Iqbal's life in the photo exhibition. On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Arts and Languages Prof. Dr. Javed Hassan Chandio, along with Principal University College of Art and Design Farhana Altaf, distributed certificates among the participating students. The first position was won by Abdur Rehman, a student of the University College of Art and Design. The second position was won by the student of Government Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur, Ayeza Mursalin, and the third position obtained by Kanza Khan, a student of Government Degree College of Special Education. Dr. Yasmin Rufi, Sarfraz Batol, and faculty members were also present on this occasion.

شاعر مشرق علامہ محمد اقبال کے یوم پیدائش کی مناسبت سے یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں پورٹریٹ بنانے کے مقابلے میں 6 اداروں کے طلباء وطالبات نے شرکت کی۔ ان اداروں میں یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور، آرکیٹیکچر ڈیپارٹمنٹ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور، گورنمنٹ صادق کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی بہاول پور، گورنمنٹ گریجویٹ کالج ویمن سیٹلائٹ ٹاؤن بہاول پور، گورنمنٹ گرلز ڈگری کالج دوبئی محل روڈ بہاول پور اور گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج آف سپیشل ایجوکیشن بہاول پور شامل ہیں۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جاوید حسن چانڈیو ڈین فیکلٹی آف آرٹس اینڈ لینگوئجز، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عصمت درانی چیئرپرسن شعبہ فارسی، ڈاکٹر مصطفی زیدی اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر شعبہ فارسی اور فرہانہ الطاف پرنسپل یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن نے علامہ اقبال کی حیات، شاعری اور کارناموں پر تفصیلی گفتگو کی۔ مقررین نے تصویری نمائش میں علامہ اقبال کی زندگی کے مختلف پہلوؤں کو اجاگر کرنے پر طلباء وطالبات سے تخلیقی صلاحیتوں کو سراہا۔ اس موقع پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف آرٹس اینڈ لینگوئجز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جاوید حسن چانڈیو نے پرنسپل یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن فرہانہ الطاف کے ہمراہ طلباء وطالبات میں اسناد تقسیم کیں۔ پہلی پوزیشن یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن کے طالب علم عبدالرحمن نے حاصل کی۔ دوسری پوزیشن گورنمنٹ صادق کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی بہاول پورکی طالبہ عائزہ مرسلین اور تیسری پوزیشن گورنمنٹ ڈگری کالج آف سپیشل ایجوکیشن کی طالبہ کنزہ خان نے حاصل کی۔ اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر یاسمین روفی، سرفراز بتول اور فیکلٹی ممبران بھی موجود تھے۔
