On the instructions of HEC Pakistan, IUB celebrated the National Day of the brotherly Islamic country of Turkey.

A special ceremony was held at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur on the occasion of the National Day of the brotherly Islamic country of Türkiye. On the instructions of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, the Turkish National Day Week was celebrated in universities on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Turkey. Professor Dr. Irshad Hussain, Dean of the Faculty of Education, presided over the ceremony. On this occasion, the national anthems of Türkiye and Pakistan were presented. Onur Koksal, Professor, Department of Education, Selcuk University, Türkiye, gave a detailed lecture on the history, culture, art and literature of the Republic of Türkiye. He said that Turkey was declared a republic in 1923 and Pak-Turkish friendship is a rich reflection of Islamic brotherhood. He expressed special gratitude to Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran for organizing the ceremony on the National Day of Türkiye. Dr. Mussrat Wajid, Department of Persian, Dr. Abid Hussain Shahzad, Director of International Linkages, and Dr. Shahbaz Ali Khan, Chairman, Department of Public Administration also spoke on the occasion. The students present at the ceremony appreciated the everlasting friendship between the two countries, especially Türkiye's full support and assistance to Pakistan in Operation Banyan al-Marsoos, and said that this evergreen relationship has withstood every test.

بہاولپور (پ ر) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں برادر اسلامی ملک ترکیہ کے قومی دن کے موقع پر خصوصی تقریب منعقد ہوئی۔ ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن آف پاکستان کی ہدایت پر جامعات میں جمہوریہ ترکیہ کے قومی دن کی مناسبت سے ترکیہ قومی دن کا ہفتہ منایا گیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ارشاد حسین ڈین فیکلٹی آف ایجوکیشن نے تقریب کی صدارت کی۔ اس موقع پر ترکیہ اور پاکستان کا قومی ترانہ پیش کیا گیا۔ اونور کوکسال پروفیسر شعبہ ایجوکیشن سیلکوک یونیورسٹی ترکیہ نے جمہوریہ ترکیہ کی تاریخ ثقافت آرٹ اور ادب پر تفصیلی لیکچر دیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ 1923 میں ترکیہ جمہوریہ قرار پایا اور پاک ترک دوستی اسلامی بھائی چارے کی بھرپور عکاس ہے۔ انہوں نے ترکیہ کے قومی دن پر تقریب کے انعقاد پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کا خصوصی شکریہ ادا کیا۔ اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر مسرت واجد شعبہ فارسی، ڈاکٹر عابد حسین شہزاد ڈائریکٹر انٹرنیشنل لنکجز اور ڈاکٹر شہباز علی خان چیئرمین شعبہ پبلک ایڈمنسٹریشن نے بھی خطاب کیا۔ تقریب میں موجود طلباءوطالبات نے دونوں ملکوں کی لازوال دوستی خاص طور پر آپریشن بنیان المرصوص میں ترکیہ کی پاکستان کی مکمل حمایت اور مدد کو سراہا اور کہا کہ یہ سدا بہار تعلق ہر آزمائش پر پورا اترا ہے۔
