On Kashmir Black Day 2025, the Department of Pakistan Studies, IUB organized a seminar.

A seminar was organized by the Department of Pakistan Studies, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur on the occasion of Kashmir Black Day. In this seminar, a detailed discussion was held on the illegal and oppressive occupation of Kashmir by India on October 27, 1947 and the historical impact of this barbarity on the Kashmiris. Dr. Rubina Yasmin, Chairperson, Department of Pakistan Studies, while addressing the participants, narrated the history of the oppression that has been going on in Kashmir for many decades and reiterated the resolve of the Kashmiri people to raise their voice at national and international forums along with the right of self-determination. Dr. Muhammad Ikramullah Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of Pakistan Studies, while addressing the participants, shed light on the freedom of Kashmir and the role of students. The participants said that it is our responsibility to raise our voice for the freedom of the Kashmiri people.

شعبہ مطالعہ پاکستان اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام یوم سیاہ کے حوالے سے سیمینار کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔ اس سیمینار میں بھارت کی جانب سے 27 اکتوبر 1947 کو کشمیر پر غیر قانونی اور جابرانہ قبضے اور اس بربریت کے کشمیریوں پر تاریخی اثرات پر تفصیلی گفتگو کی گئی۔ ڈاکٹر روبینہ یاسمین چیئر پرسن ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف پاکستان اسٹڈیز نے شرکاء سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کشمیر پر کئی عشروں سے جاری ظلم کی تاریخ بیان کی اور کشمیری عوام کے حق خوداداریت کر ساتھ قومی اور عالمی فورمز پر آواز بلند کرنے کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔ ڈاکٹر محمد اکرام اللہ خان اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف پاکستان اسٹڈیز نے شرکاء سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کشمیر کی آزادی اور طلباءوطالبات کے کردار پر روشنی ڈالی۔ شرکاء کا کہنا تھا کہ ہماری ذمہ داری ہے کہ ہم کشمیری عوام کی آزادی کے لیے آواز بلند کریں۔
