National Collaborations

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with various national institutions. These collaborations aim to strengthen academic cooperation, research activities, and institutional development across Pakistan.

The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) Islamabad, Pakistan

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) Islamabad. The MoU signing ceremony was held on November 19, 2021.

Purpose of the MoU:

  1. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IPS and IUB aimed at exploring and pursuing joint research, academic and publishing ventures, facilitating cooperation and collaboration between the two institutions in fostering dialogue and discussions among scholars, experts and policy makers in the areas of national interest, and capacity building endeavors for the research faculty and students to carry out policy-oriented research.

Barani Agricultural research institute (BARI) Chakwal, Pakistan

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Barani Agricultural research institute (BARI) Chakwal. The MoU signing ceremony was held on September 24, 2021.

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Internet things Center private limited Islamabad, Pakistan. The MoU signing ceremony was held on July 07, 2021.

Purpose of the MoU:

  1. Internet of Things Center will provide the students or graduates of IU Bahawalpur with volunteer experiences, internships and internship leading to job opportunities.
  2. Internet of Things Center and IU Bahawalpur will mutually organize webinars and workshops regularly, related to emerging technologies such as lot.
  3. Internet of Things Center will plan and offer discounted rate loT trainings with or without its partners including IU Bahawalpur. IU Bahawalpur can provide relevant available teachers/trainers for trainings who will be paid accordingly.
  4. Both Parties are allowed to use official logos of each other for trainings, seminar, webinars and workshops.

Hamard Labotaries (WAQF) Pakistan

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hamard Labotaries (WAQF) Pakistan. The MoU signing ceremony was held on June 22, 2021.

Purpose of the MoU:

  1. Paid internship will be offered in Hamdard Laboratories and Hamdard Matabs to the BEMS graduates of UCCM, IUB and subsequently jobs will be offered after completion of internship. Medical camps, national & international seminars/conferences will be organized throughout the Pakistan for the recognition of Eastern Medicine as joint activities.
  2. Research facilities of both the institutions will be shared and joint research projects will be carried out for development of profession.

University of Management and Technology Lahore

The University Islamia University of Bahawalpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding with University of management and Technology Lahore Signing MoU and Virtual Document Exchange Ceremony held on April 15, 2021.

  1. The purpose of this Agreement is to stimulate and to support educational activities and projects Department of Clinical Psychology, UMT and Department of Applied Psychology, IUB.
  2. Promoting institutional exchange by inviting faculty of the other Party to participate in a variety of teaching or research activities and professional development.
  3. Organize symposia, conferences, short courses, and meetings on research issues.
  4. To exchange expertise in terms of counseling and therapy for effective working of department and Enabling Center situated in the department of Applied Psychology, IUB.

Association for gender awareness Human Empowerment (AGAHE), Pakistan

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Association for gender awareness Human Empowerment (AGAHE), Pakistan. The MoU signing ceremony was held on January 01, 2021 .

Quaid-i-Azam University of Islamabad, Pakistan

  4. The conduct of special projects for mutual benefit for improving health, well-being and socioeconomic status of both institutions
  5. The faculty members, scholars and undergraduate students will be exempted to pay any bench/tuition/course fee on either side.

Weekly Technology Times Islamabad, Pakistan

The University Islamia University of Bahawalpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding Weekly Technology Times Islamabad, PakistanSigning of MoU and Virtual Document Exchange Ceremony held on April 02, 2021.

  3. Arranging science exhibitions, demos, walks and any kind of science promotional institutions etc.
  4. Will work as media partners for promotion of IUB functions free of cost
  5. Mutual sharing and exchange of information and materials like literature, videos, and other data for designing of common activities.

Bahuaddin Zakariya University of Multan, Pakistan

The University Islamia University of Bahawalpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding Bahuaddin Zakariya University of Multan, PakistanSigning of MoU and Virtual Document Exchange Ceremony held on March 26, 2021.

Mumkin Kar Welfare Society (MKWS), Punjab, Pakistan

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mumkin Kar Welfare Society (MKWS), Punjab, Pakistan. The MoU signing and virtual document exchange ceremony was held on January 1, 2021.

  2. Provision of fees for deserving, needy and Orphans IUB students especially for students from diversified background coming from entire Pakistan.
  3. Financial assistance in form of payment of hostel dues of deserving, needy and Orphan IUB students especially for students from diversified background coming from entire Pakistan.
  4. Provision of internship and job opportunities for IUB graduates in relevant fields
  5. For any other initiatives with mutual consent.
  6. Provision of hard component (vehicles for Social Work field practice and for Directorate of Fundraising and University Advancement, infrastructure development, lab and IT equipment etc.)
